Animal fats, molasses, vegetable oils, fatty acids, glucose, margarine, and edible liquids. These are just a few of the process products of the food and feed industry.
The M-series and T-series, thanks to the elevated self-priming capacity, are the most widely used positive displacement pumps in this sector.
Low rotational speed, the main feature of these pumps, makes any high-viscosity product transferable.
M Pompe has also designed a heating jacket which, through a connection to the vapour or hot water in the system and the appropriate heating channels, keeps the process fluid from catalysing or solidifying inside the pump casing. This enables the transfer of fluids such as grease, lard and tallow, which have a higher melting point and would, therefore, be solid at room temperatures.
For applications that require pressure that is superior to 16 bar, M Pompe has developed the G-Series, positive displacement pumps with external gears.
G-series pumps allow viscous fluids (up to 80.000 mPa s) to be transferred at high pressures, up to 40 bar.
Thanks to the simple design of the G-series, maintenance is quick and economical.
